Saved by Norton Ghost 14.0

today it proved it was worth $60 back when i got it .
it had been incrementally backing up my drives and "NEW" files in we version controlled patches .
after some nasty issue with ram wrecking my windows / media center files i simply clicked restore folders/files . found the target folder in Norton backup , and clicked restore .
now there was some file in use errors , as i was not in safe mode during this.
all i did was find that named running process and killed it's proc tree. and clicked retry .

worked D'a bomb'  Cheesy

LOL
any how  in the end , all i can say is have some sort of progressive back-up schema running
